Event Courses and Parking MapsThe 5k Run is a USA Track & Field certified course, which takes runners and walkers on a scenic tour through the center of the island, returning along the southern shore (facing Canada).
The New Year's Eve Fun Run is a quick one mile course around the southern tip of Belle Isle, with a beautiful view of the newly restored Scott Fountain.

Parking Map and Directions
Free parking will be available throughout Belle Isle Park. There will be plenty of paved, secure parking spaces in the former Grand Prix parking area, near the Belle Isle Casino.
For the safety of our runners and walkers, the course will be closed to traffic until the 5K Walk has finished. If you must leave before the 5k has passed, please park on the right (water) side of Strand. (You will need to drive around the northern end to exit Belle Isle, as Inselruhe will be closed for the event.)
